In addition, some special activities and events provided for, or sponsored by the Sight-Loss Support Group are for members only. Membership also allows you to borrow from our new library of books, resources on tape and our large Descriptive Video selection as well as entitling you to 30 day usage of some of our low vision equipment.
BE INVOLVED
We encourage our members to become actively involved in the group. Below are some of the ways you can feel more a part of the group and meet some great people as well.
You may serve on one or more of the following Sight-Loss Support Group committees:

There are many other ways to volunteer besides being on a committee:

- · Acting as guides through Festival Eyes

WHAT BETTER WAY TO FEEL LIKE A PART OF THE SIGHT-LOSS SUPPORT GROUP THAN TO VOLUNTEER! MANY OF OUR MOST ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS HAVE A SIGHT LOSS, SO DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU. CALL US AT 814-238-0132 TO DISCUSS HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP AND TO TO ARRANGE A BRIEF SENSITIVITY TRAINING.
