Audio-described performances and art exhibits are presented, free of charge, through the View-Via-Headphones program. During a performance, without interrupting dialogue, certified professionals describe ongoing visual elements to participants using special receivers and headsets.

For art exhibits, describers detail individual works, their history and often provide tactile samples that simulate the different types of medium used.  Tickets to these events are often provided free of charge to the visually impaired.
