DUE TO A LACK OF RESERVATION REQUESTS, The State High Thespians' spring musical will NOT BE audio described. This April they present a tune-filled comic gem that took Broadway by storm, winning both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying boasts an exhilarating score by Frank Loesser, including "I Believe in You," "Brotherhood of Man," and "The Company Way."
A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, the musical follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing coworkers, caffeine addictions, and, or course, true love.
No reservations were made for the AD service by March 19 by contacting the SLSG office by email or by phoning (814) 238-0132., so this performance WILL NOT BE AUDIO DESCRIBED. If you would enjoy the musical without audio description, tickets may be obtained through the SCAHS Box Office at (814)231-4188.
