Thursday, May 9, 2019: Boal Museum Tour and Cookout

For our May Second Thursdays meeting, don’t look for us at Mt Nittany Residences – we’ll be at the Columbus Chapel & Boal Mansion Museum in Boalsburg for a tour of this historical treasure in our own backyard. Afterwards, we’ll picnic on the Museum grounds. Our grill masters will serve up hamburgers and hot dogs with lots of yummy side dishes. Click here for more info.

Join us as we explore some of the prolific public art works of downtown State College. The tour is free and open to all, but please notify the SLSG office by email at office@slsg.org or by phoning (814)238-0132 by May 30 if you plan on attending. Rain date: Wednesday, June 12.

The artworks in Plastic Entanglements invite us to contemplate the past, present, and future of plastic. Join us for a special event for the visually impaired at the Palmer Museum of Art as we explore this spectacular exhibit with special tactile presentations. Admission is free, reservations are not necessary, but notification to the SLSG office by phone (814-238-0132) or email (office@slsg.org) if you plan on attending would be appreciated.

Join us for the State College Spikes Opening Night! We are getting a block of tickets in the accessible seating section where you'll get a better view! Tickets are $10. Join us as we root for the home team, sample the stadium food, and enjoy the fireworks after the game.
